Description: A modernist apartment complex from the 1960s/70s, currently undergoing urban revitalization/transformation, where a mixed residential development with many public services is being constructed. The heart of the complex is to be the Remiseparken city park with so-called “farm gardens,” playgrounds and recreational areas intended, for example, for barbecues.
Process: The creation of a new district called an urban laboratory. A self-sufficient and sustainable district, where respect for nature is an important element. The design activities were supported by a public participation process.
Community: ethnically diverse, economically diverse.
NBS tools used: the park has an alder forest which retains rainwater, as well as community gardens. Fruit tree have been planted here.
